Make Over Time?
Yesterday, I took my son to visit my grandparents. While we were there, my grandmother found a VHS of me doing some read aloud thing for the public library. I was 16 or 17 and it consisted of me reading 4 children’s books on the local channel. My 4 year old recognized me right away because I LOOK THE SAME as I did when I was a teenager! I realize that for some people that would be great… and while I was in my 20s, it was. However, I’m 32. I’m a grown-up. What really stood out to me was my hair. I have the same hair cut! For about 20 years I have had the same hair cut! It’s crazy and it’s changing today.
Also, gotta get the weight off! The only difference in the teenage me and the grown up me was that now I’m bigger :( We are supposed to be starting a weight watchers at work program in January. I think I’m going to go ahead and start counting my points though. I’ve started doing Zumba 3 to 4 times a week and that’s fun. Uggg… gotta get it together… no wonder I’m single….
Oh and a side note… one should ALWAYS wear lipstick on camera…
